Who we are
About me
I am an Urban Planner/Civil Engineer and an Economist by profession. In my main line of work I research socio-economic development challenges in Southwestern Pennsylvania, and try to find achievable solutions.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, what started as hobbies I picked up to not go crazy during lockdown, has turned into a passion: sustainable living. I am also a father of three, which makes it even more important to reduce our ecological footprint for the sake of the next generation.
Over the past 4 years I have invested countless hours learning about permaculture, clean energy and construction. Part of this journey was to understand how solar energy systems work, how to go about procuring the best and cheapest equipment, and how to get everything installed and operational.
As I transition to providing solar installations as a service to others, my goal is to also educate others on the technology and work with the client to set goals and find creative and affordable pathways to achieving them.
About my partner
My partner in this effort is a licensed and insured general contractor with a decade of experience in the construction industry. A native of Pittsburgh, he knows the area, its weather and the construction style of all kinds of houses and commercial buildings prevalent in Southwestern PA, Eastern Ohio and Northeastern West Virginia. He also has a licensed electrician on his team to make solar installation permitting and inspections go smoothly.
